| Recommended Ages: All | | One hour, single-session workshop are all $100 plus $2 materials fee per participant. Classes should be kept under 40 participants to get the best experience. | “Look Ma, One Hand!” | | Recommended Ages: 5-11 | | Know a story or song with five or more characters? Ever perform a puppet show using only one hand? Now’s your chance to create your own show, including sets, costumes and characters, on one or two gloves! |

| | “If you’re thirsty for puppets…” | | Recommended Ages: 5-10 | | Children will be taken step by step through the process of making their own moving-mouth puppet. Once the basic puppet is complete, they can choose from a variety of fun craft supplies and decorate their puppets. A brief lesson on moving mouth manipulation will follow the craft activity, time permitting.

| | “Who’re You Calling Trash?!” | | Recommended Ages: 5 and up | | Dirty erasers, broken toothpicks, ripped sponges… Junk? No, puppets! Come and see the creatures that emerge from everyday household items. You’ll never look at “junk” the same way again! This workshop is an excellent compliment to recycling programs. |

| | “Me and My Shadow…” | | Recommended Ages: 5 and up | | Explore one of the oldest forms of puppetry while creating a circus of delights with shadow figures, projections, and light effects. Design your own shadow puppets to continue the magic at home! This workshop is the perfect compliment to our shadow puppet show Fish ’n’ Ships. |

| | “Stick ’Em Up!” | | Recommended Ages: 3-8 | | Young children can make puppets too in this workshop that uses simple construction techniques. Emphasis is placed on decoration and creativity. This workshop ends with a music-filled puppet parade! |

| | “Let Your Fingers Do the Talking!” | | Recommended Ages: 7-13 | | Create your own hand puppet from a simple sock and learn the basics of moving-mouth puppet manipulation through music and improvisation. |

| “Small Show - Big Ideas!” | | Recommended Ages: 7 and up | | Children will learn some of the history of toy, or tabletop, theatre and have a chance to make their own puppets and pop-up scenery. They will also get to try out their new puppets on a tabletop stage. |

| | Recommended Ages: 10-16 | | Time to get down and dirty! Sculpt giant puppets out of cardboard, paper mache, and other materials, then decorate and use in a puppet pageant like no other! This workshop is ideal for civic, school or community groups who are participating in an upcoming parade or who want a true group bonding project. |

| | Recommended Ages: 7-9 or 10-12 | | Spend one to three hours a day with us, learning the ins and outs of puppets! Create a puppet show from start to finish, from writing the script, designing and building the puppets, to performing your incredible creation for family and friends!
Many forms of puppetry will be explored; maybe we’ll even invent a few of our own! The workshop ends with a public performance. A cookies and juice reception is recommended.

| Recommended Ages: 8-13 | | Having a Toy Theatre in your classroom, combined with a workshop or teacher training will help students reach various Georgia Performance Standards. Students will learn about the history of toy, or tabletop, theatre and will make their own puppets and pop-up scenery. They will also learn to adapt a story from literature, history, or personal experience based on a production chart. Teachers will be left with a foldable toy theatre for their classroom and information on incorporating toy theatre use throughout the year. Please call for pricing and more information. |

Whether it’s moving mouth puppets, rod puppets, hand puppets, marionettes - we can teach you and your group the basics of puppet manipulation, probably in less time than you think.
